8  Resumes

Here are some thoughts about developing your resume.

If you have not started to work on your resume, you should start now. Sometime it can be hard to get started and alternatively it is easy to think you are done at some point, well you should try to approach your resume as if it is a work in progress. Working on it will never end during your career and you should make an effort to update it each year.

My advice for sections on your resume.

• Name, contact information
• Jobjective
• Education
• Coursework
• Projects
• Work experience
• Volunteer work
• Hobbies

The most important sections are the ones that support your objective and they should be at the top.
