Layout is a multilayered 2D Graphic Design software package for Windows. Its intendended applications are Integrated Circuit (IC) design, Micro/Nano- Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS/NEMS) but it can be used for design of many other structures.

Created by Dr. Roger Doering and a group of graduate students, the software project has been growing since 2004.
The project is coded using object oriented C++ and uses OpenGL to take advantage of the speed of graphics engines.

The executable code and documentation are freely downloadable for academic use from this webpage.
